Upon arriving, I discovered that Dorothy actually had two churches -- the previously depicted United Church and this Roman Catholic one. Although the Catholic church was apparently in use until 1967, the interior was in considerably worse condition than the United Church. This appears to have been the dwelling of choice for local pigeons and eventually the weight from years of accumulated guano collapsed the ceiling. Note the confessional in the corner.

It was raining intermittently, so I grabbed a raincoat and wandered around exploring the churches and surrounding area as I waited for nightfall.
